Privacy notice
How we use your information.
Who we are. The Good Home Collective Limited (company number 14688922) is the controller of personal information collected through this website and our property services. Our registered office is 6 Armada Lane, Rainham, England, RM13 8PH. You can contact us at contact@thegoodhomecollective.com.
Information we may collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, assessment answers, appointment or enquiry details, communications with us, and technical information about your device and use of the website.
Why we use it and our lawful bases
We use personal information to provide assessment results, respond to enquiries, arrange calls, assess whether our services may be suitable, deliver or prepare to deliver services you request, operate and secure the website, and keep appropriate business records.
Our lawful basis will depend on the purpose. It may be necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract or to perform a contract; necessary for our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving our business and responding to genuine enquiries; necessary to comply with legal obligations; or based on your consent where consent is required, including for optional analytics/advertising technologies and certain marketing communications.
Who we use to provide the website and service
We may share relevant information with service providers acting for us or providing tools we use, including website hosting, assessment, analytics, video and booking providers. The services currently used on this site include Netlify, ScoreApp, Cloudflare Stream, Calendly, Google Analytics, Meta and Microsoft Clarity.
Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where UK data protection law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we rely on an applicable adequacy regulation or appropriate contractual and other safeguards provided for by law.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including to deal with enquiries, provide services, maintain appropriate records and meet legal, tax, accounting or dispute-resolution requirements. We periodically review what we hold and delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights to ask for access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to certain processing. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not make earlier processing unlawful.
You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests and to direct marketing. To exercise a right, email contact@thegoodhomecollective.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.
Assessment results and automated processing
Your answers may be used to tailor informational assessment results and help us understand whether a conversation may be useful. We do not use the assessment to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Complaints
If you have a concern, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
